Tabaco Oudh is what businessmen should smell like. Take this review as a first impression because I hadn’t spent the correct amount of time with the fragance.
Upon first spray you will get this alluring scent that is light but inviting and provocative to your senses. It is refreshing and very gentle with a sweet berry nuances it
can evoke the scent of some blackberry tea but a juicy one instead of a dry smell. Also it gives whiffs of an almost powdery fruity smell like 80’s fouguere classic barbershop style. This must be the work of the middle notes mixed together the saffron, violet and earthy thyme but for my nose there is not an earthy quality but a powdery one in nature that gives the refined scent that is alluring at the same time it smells classic. Then as times unfolds it will unravel some smokiness but in a little amount accompanied by this spicy or hot tobacco note like mixing cayenne pepper with a fresh tobacco leaf. You can get little sparkles of oud that is mature and masculine but so gentle in the way it was done. In the base you will get some ambery aspect with little bit of cinnamon and some mix of ambroxan and clean musk. The cedarwood is done in such a way that is not sharp or screeching to your senses and at least to me it doesn’t make itself so present but certainly is there giving this alluring nature to the composition. The Tonka bean is present in the entire time giving this powdery and cream like quality.
So in the end you will get a mix of a classic fouguere from 80’s with a modern style that exudes a refined gentleman like aspect it is not entirely a fouguere it changes from some ambery aspect to a fruity-fouguere. It can remind you of certain perfumes like Lalique pour homme, Lalique Equus, Wild Country, etc.. it is certainly alluring and invites you to get close to smell it. Definitely could be worn by the ladies too.
My sincere take on this some is you wearing some nice and clean leather jacket while you have recently shaved with the most expensive cream out there while brewing some fresh and riped blackberries to make the most fresh tea.
Truly a masterpiece.
